This Jailbreak will work on:

IPhone 3GS: 3.1.2 , 3.1.3 , 4.0 , 4.0.1
IPhone 4: 4.0 , 4.0.1

Step 1:Open up Settings go to Auto-Lock and set it to Never.

Step 2: Now open Safari on the device you wish to Jailbreak type in Jailbreakme.com and go to the website.

Step 3: Slide the arrow and wait for the Device to download and jailbreak itself.
(Note: this process will take about 5 minutes to complete)

Step 4: After the Jailbreak is done you will get a pop-up message saying "Cydia has been added to the home screen. Have fun!" Press ok and you will be at Comex's donation page go ahead and donate if you fell like it if not just exit safari and enjoy your Jailbroken device!
